Optim Healthcare Marketing
I was responsible for marketing and visual design for 3 hospitals, 56 satellite offices and 52 physicians in Southeast Georgia. Digital collateral included: front-end website design, monthly newsletters, banner ads, presentations and social assets. Print materials included: brochures, trade show materials, signage, ads, stationary and merchandise.
I collaborated with and managed a team of marketing liaisons and integrated marketing objectives with a distinguished ad agency and PR firm to create advertising campaigns and effective public relations outreach. I organized and executed numerous community events and managed multi-regional sponsorships. I was also responsible for establishing and maintaining the company’s entire social media presence on outlets including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
I supported the company by creating and designing in-house, branded, original print materials. I generated over 500 pieces of print and digital collateral readily available for employee use. These included, but were not limited to: flyers; bi-folds; tri-folds; booklets; stationary; 1-sheeters; banners; posters; maps; display cards; rack cards; and signs.
Sponsorships & Events
Optim Healthcare participated in several different events annually. I organized and planned our involvement with the events to ensure consistent branding and maintain a strong presence in the communities we served. These events were typically brought on by sponsorships such as chamber events, parades, local festivals, health fairs, races and presentations. Optim was involved in approximately 35 events in 2015.
PR & Advertising
I was fortunate enough to work with two great companies; PURE (ad agency) and Thunder 11 (PR company) to ramp up brand awareness and outreach within our rural communities. In the 10-month period that the PR company was on board with Optim, we managed to achieve the following:
- 53 original placements (from top-tier, local and trade publications)
- Promoting multiple community outreach initiatives internally and among media; partnership and event with Georgia Southern University
- Optim Sports Medicine Injury Prevention Day
- Recipient of a Gold Award from Healthcare Marketing Report's 32nd Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards
Working alongside an outside advertising company we launched 3 successful campaigns (TV, OOH, Print and Radio) in 2014. These campaigns increased brand awareness, contributed to a healthy upswing in business and the first campaign was recognized by The American Advertising Awards for a Silver ADDY Award in 2014 for Best Creative Ad Campaign.
